The debut of the Inaugural Women's Empowerment Luncheon (WEL) on Friday, December 1, 2023 at NYIT de Seversky Mansion was an incredible success! We extend profound gratitude to the WEL Committee, our sponsors, friends and supporters for helping to make this event possible.
With your help, we raised over $30,000 in support of the Professional Growth and Development Program, which pairs women in recovery from substance use disorder with leaders in their chosen fields.
The success of this event would not have been possible without your generosity. We are immensely grateful for your belief in our mission to enable women in our community to continue to build a stable and fulfilling life in recovery.
LICADD’s clinical team will work to ensure these women are properly supported as they navigate both recovery and career. The program will foster business relationships, share resources, and build professional alliances during regular goal-driven meetings.
