May 9th is Fentanyl Awareness Day. We lose someone to fentanyl every 8.5 minutes; let’s take this time to move forward and prevent more unnecessary deaths!
Join us on May 9th at the Port Jefferson Legislative building to hear from Legislators Kara Hahn and Sarah Anker, as well as substance abuse clinicians and parents who have lost their children to fentanyl poisoning to learn more about this silent, pervasive and deadly epidemic. Don’t let our children become one of the 175 that are lost to fentanyl poisoning every day in the US.
