Since earning her Bachelor of Science in Social Work in 2017, Lateisha has built a strong foundation in community mental health, crisis intervention, and leadership. She began her career on Long Island as a Case Manager and advanced to Assistant Manager before serving on an Assertive Community Treatment (ACT) team. In these roles, she provided intensive, community-based and crisis support to diverse populations, including children and families, older adults, individuals experiencing mental health and substance use challenges, LGBTQ+ individuals, immigrants and refugees, veterans, those facing homelessness, and individuals involved in the criminal justice system.

Lateisha earned her Master of Social Work from the University of Denver and completed her clinical internship with LICADD in 2024. Through these experiences, she developed a strong commitment to person-centered, recovery-oriented care.

After recently becoming an EAP Clinician with LICADD, she continues to integrate Motivational Interviewing and other evidence-based approaches towards creating a safe, affirming, and collaborative therapeutic space for her clients. Lateisha believes each client holds the capacity for growth, healing, and wellness and is dedicated to empowering individuals to build a more balanced and fulfilling quality of life.
