Chris is mission and community-driven leader with 10 years of nonprofit experience, including 7 years of leadership experience in creating, supporting, and strengthening collaborative and strategic partnerships that serve the community and 4 years of experience in collaborating with senior behavioral-health directors to support program strategy, operations, and service delivery. He has the ability and expertise in examining programming for the short and long-term, specifically for sustainability and high impact.
Chris has leadership experience in planning, budgeting, and executing strategic development plans, including securing major gifts, event sponsorships, private and public grants, and corporate and individual donations.
He has experience in the education, substance use and mental health, healthcare and overall human services spaces. Chris was previously Assistant Executive Director at Episcopal Health Services, Director of Development at EAC Network, Assistant Director of Development at the Long Island Council on Alcoholism and Drug Dependence, and worked at Junior Achievement of New York prior to that.
A native Long Islander, Chris has a genuime passion for community service and making the world a better place, one step at a time. He also is a youth basketball coach who believes in the ability of sports to teach life lessons, teamwork, work ethic, and working through adversity.
Chris received a Master’s in Government and Politics, with a focus in International Relations and minor in Public Administration, from St. John’s University’s Rome, Italy, campus, and a Bachelor’s in Business Management from St. John’s, as well. He also received an Executive Education Certification from Fordham University’s Center for Nonprofit Leaders. Chris aspires to attend law school and also become an adjunct professor to mentor future nonprofit leaders.
Chris grew up in Westbury, went to Carle Place schools, and currently resides in Bellmore with his wife, Rebecca, who is a middle school English teacher. When he is not in the office, you can find Chris with his family, at the beach, watching a local high school basketball game, or on the golf course.
