LICADD is proud to participate in the Town of North Hempstead’s Community Drug Education and Prevention Series.
This free educational program will explore the impact of social media on youth substance use, including exposure to drug-related content, the normalization of substance use online, warning signs parents should recognize, and practical strategies for talking with children and teens about what they encounter on social media.
The evening will also feature a presentation from Port Washington Police Department Chief Kevin McCarroll and conclude with hands-on Narcan training.
