Maureen is a native Long Islander who attended Huntington High School and graduated in 1981. She went on to earn her degree from Fairfield University in 1985.
After college, Maureen moved to New York City, where she began her career on Wall Street with the J.W. Seligman Mutual Funds. She later transitioned into the television industry, working with TPE and the Tribune Entertainment Company.
In 1998, shortly after leaving the television business, Maureen relocated to London with her husband, Mickey, following his career opportunity there. During their 10 years in the United Kingdom, their family grew to include three sons. Upon returning to Long Island, Maureen joined the LICADD Board of Directors and became actively involved in advancing the organization’s mission.
Maureen and her husband have remained dedicated members of the recovery community for more than 37 years. She currently works part-time as a yoga instructor and coordinates yoga retreats around the world. Maureen and Mickey divide their time between New York City and Southampton.
