Barbara Posillico, LCSW-R is the owner and co-founder of Life Center Counseling & Health Services, which she has led since its founding in 2007. With more than 30 years of clinical experience, Barbara is dedicated to helping adolescents, adults, couples, and families navigate life’s challenges through compassionate, evidence-based psychotherapy. She is recognized for her collaborative, client-centered approach and her commitment to promoting emotional wellness, resilience, and personal growth.
In addition to her clinical leadership, Barbara serves as Treasurer and Board Member of LICADD (Long Island Council on Alcoholism and Drug Dependence) and is an active member of the Huntington Opioid Task Force, where she collaborates with community leaders to address substance use prevention, education, treatment, and recovery initiatives. Through her clinical practice and community involvement, Barbara is committed to improving access to quality mental health and addiction services across Long Island.
